Lower Back Acupoint Therapy

How Does Lower Back Acupoint Therapy Work â€‹

Lian identifies mechanical dysfunction (tight muscles, restricted fascia, poor movement patterns) and maps these against meridian routes that influence lumbar function. Manual releases restore tissue glide and reduce tension, acupoint work supports meridian flow, and the Ultrasonic device helps with deeper tissue softening and circulation. The holistic combination reduces pain and improves functional movement.

What a session feels like?

During your session, Lian places a ultrasonic device directly on selected acupoints, using a gentle conductive gel or cream. You might feel a soft warmth or a light vibration as the ultrasonic waves work through the tissue.  The treatment is point-specific, precise and comfortable.

The therapy is completely non-invasive, and the settings are always adjusted to suit your comfort.

What can I expect during a session?
A first appointment is a relaxed consultation and treatment. Lian will:

  1. Review medical history and your main concerns.

  2. Check posture, movement and meridian patterns (pulse/tongue where helpful).

  3. Provide hands-on treatment: acupoint work, manual therapy and ultrasound if indicated.

Sessions are safe, non-invasive and tailored to each client. Many people feel immediate relief and steady improvement over a short course.

Any practical tips before you come

  •  Wear comfortable clothing that allows lumbar access or bring something to change into.

  • Bring any recent imaging reports or referrals.

  • Arrange light activity after the session and follow the posture and movement guidance provided.

Meridian Body System Explained

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, meridians are the body’s energy pathways linking organs, tissues and acupoints. When they’re blocked, you may feel pain, heaviness, poor sleep or sluggish digestion. By stimulating specific acupoints, we help restore energy flow, release local tension and support the body’s own healing rhythm.

Testimonials

I have had 2 hip surgeries on my left left over an 8 year span. I have had continuous pain my left hip and have been seeing a physio every 3 months for the last 4 years for reoccurring hip pain.
The pain was so bad that it prevented me from driving, sleeping properly, walking or doing sports.

After just one session with Lian, my hip pain was gone.  I had a blockage in the back of the leg that was causing the pain and after just one session she managed to break it down and get rid of it.

I will definitely be going back to her more sessions to work on my sleep. I am so grateful for Lian for giving me back my life, pain free after 8 years! Thank you
